Mr. David C. Dueck

A successful entrepreneur and business man with over 30 years experience in Strategic Business Development. Mr. Dueck has successfully built multiple companies from concept to profit across a variety of industries. Re-branding and Restructuring companies for turnaround success have been a focus of Mr. Dueck. His efforts and his expertise in these areas has proven invaluable to Photon Control.

Building teams that succeed and placing leadership are key components of success. Mr. Dueck frequently serves as a strategic adviser and is a strong supporter of innovative business initiatives internationally covering markets from food distribution to engineering.

David C. Dueck holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Christopher Weston

Mr. Weston has always demonstrated a passion for exploring the unknown and making the complicated accessible. As President at Photon we see this in his approach and initiatives as we expand our offerings and our market reach into new found opportunities. Christopher brings with him more than a decade of spearheading corporate initiatives while successfully breathing new life into companies facing the demands of the new era. With his combined experience and innovation in strategic initiatives, restructuring and re-branding of a global high-security and asset management company his expertise has already produced impressive results for shareholders, the team and the clients at Photon.

Mr. Weston serves as a director on multiple boards with his core focus being to drive change and success to the initiatives at Photon Control with immediate impact and lasting value that is guaranteed to reach well into the new millennium and its economic demands.

Dr. Robert Breault, PhD

Dr. Breault is internationally recognized as one of the world's leading experts in the area of stray light analysis and suppression. His work covers original research on the scattering of coated surfaces, paints, glass, and mirrored surfaces - many of these for varying degrees of cleanliness or for different fabrication techniques.

Dr. Breault has been involved in over 275 stray light analyses, using the APART™ stray light analysis program, which he authored. He was instrumental in the fabrication and or use of five different devices to measure the bi-directional scattering characteristics of surfaces. Dr. Breault has received awards of recognition from NASA (1977, 1978, 1984), and an award in 1979 from the University of Arizona for his outstanding dissertation in the field of applied sciences.

The author and co-author of two chapters in the Handbook of Optics, Dr. Breault received his B.S. in mathematics from Yale University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in optical sciences from the University of Arizona. He is a fellow of SPIE and chairman of the Arizona Optics Industry Association (AOIA).

Dr. Joseph S. Litner, M.D.

Dr. Litner was the a former Director of VSM MedTech Ltd. and has over 20 years of experience as an emergency department physician.

Dr. Litner has been on the medical teaching staff since 1985 for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Litner's experience and expertise in life sciences add value, practical direction and credibility to the developments now, today and tomorrow.

Mr. Michael Goldstein

Michael Goldstein is well known for his entrepreneurial leadership of technology and industrial businesses. He is credited with doubling the revenue and improving the profitability of Ballard Power; launching Actuality Medical’s disruptive medical device business; and leading iFire Technology Inc. to become one of Canada’s largest commercial initiatives into a $100 billion consumer flat panel TV industry. Mr. Goldstein started his career with General Electric Company, where he was ultimately responsible for design and manufacture of NASA’s Mars Observer spacecraft. He has served on the Board of Dantherm Power, and the Advisory Board for the Canadian Department of Foreign Trade & Investment. Mr. Goldstein holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Southern Illinois, and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Helena Rebec, CPIR

Ms. Rebec has served in a variety of management and organization roles as a member of the executive team at Photon Control and has served as a member of its Board of Directors from March 2009 to September 2014.

Ms. Rebec is an accomplished executive bringing over 20 years of combined experience in business administration, management and corporate governance at both early-stage and public companies. Prior to joining our team in 2001, Ms. Rebec held several senior and executive positions. Her experience in supporting businesses in development and change management bring strength to the team, and to its development of investor relations and human resources. Ms. Rebec is also a Board member of PAWS 011 Association for the Protection of Animals. She earned her CPIR (Certified Professional in Investor Relations) designation from the Ivey Business School at Western University / Canadian Investor Relations Institute.

  • Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gerald Adams, CMA

Mr. Gerald Adams has served as the Company’s Controller since February 2011 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2014. Since joining Photon Control, Mr. Adams has strengthened the Company’s financial controls and business planning. Prior to joining Photon Control, Mr. Adams has had 30 years extensive experience with both public and private companies in a broad range of finance and operations roles including financial controller and cost controller. His entire professional career has revolved around the manufacturing field, mainly in high tech industries such as ruggedized industrial computers, electrical connectors, and wireless electronic dispatch equipment. In addition to Mr. Adams’ expertise in financial reporting and operations, he is experienced in engineering project accounting, ERP implementation, MRP, and cost accounting. Mr. Adams is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
